HGREG DONATES $10,000 TO FEEDING TAMPA BAY IN SUPPORT OF CONTINUED COMMUNITY RELIEF EFFORTS FOLLOWING HURRICANES HELENE AND MILTON

HGreg has donated $10,000 to Feeding Tampa Bay, a local nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger in the Tampa Bay area, in support of the organization’s ongoing hurricane relief efforts. This donation arrives after back-to-back hurricanes impacted the region, leaving many communities in need of critical assistance. HGreg is an automotive retailer with ten Florida locations, including one in Tampa Bay.

Feeding Tampa Bay has been instrumental in aiding hurricane-impacted communities, with a commitment to ongoing relief efforts that extend four to five months post-hurricane. The funds from HGreg’s donation will enable the organization to expand its initiatives, offering essential resources and food supplies to those affected by the recent storms.

The $10,000 donation will go toward supporting Feeding Tampa Bay’s objectives for serving hurricane-affected communities including:

• Distributing essential food supplies: For every $1 donated, Feeding Tampa Bay is able to provide five meals to a neighbor in need, amplifying the impact of each contribution.
• Expanding relief operations: The funding aids Feeding Tampa Bay in deploying its fleet to deliver food directly to communities severely affected by the hurricanes.
• Increasing distributions: HGreg’s support will help Feeding Tampa Bay host 121 additional mass distributions, delivering over 4.1 million meals and 30,966 hot meals to families and individuals in need.
• Enhancing access to free groceries: An additional 1,951 people will have access to free groceries through Feeding Tampa Bay’s on-site Community Market.
