HGREG DONATES $10,000 TO FEEDING TAMPA BAY IN SUPPORT OF CONTINUED COMMUNITY RELIEF EFFORTS FOLLOWING HURRICANES HELENE AND MILTON

Tampa Bay, Fla., Nov. 25, 2024 – HGreg has donated $10,000 to Feeding Tampa Bay, a local
nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger in the Tampa Bay area, in support of the organization’s
ongoing hurricane relief efforts. This donation arrives after back-to-back hurricanes impacted
the region, leaving many communities in need of critical assistance. HGreg is an automotive
retailer with ten Florida locations, including one in Tampa Bay.
Feeding Tampa Bay has been instrumental in aiding hurricane-impacted communities, with a
commitment to ongoing relief efforts that extend four to five months post-hurricane. The funds
from HGreg’s donation will enable the organization to expand its initiatives, offering essential
resources and food supplies to those affected by the recent storms.

recognize the importance of supporting Feeding Tampa Bay’s impactful work to help rebuild

The $10,000 donation will go toward supporting Feeding Tampa Bay’s objectives for serving
hurricane-affected communities including:
 Distributing essential food supplies: For every $1 donated, Feeding Tampa Bay is able
to provide five meals to a neighbor in need, amplifying the impact of each contribution.
 Expanding relief operations: The funding aids Feeding Tampa Bay in deploying its fleet
to deliver food directly to communities severely affected by the hurricanes.
 Increasing distributions: HGreg’s support will help Feeding Tampa Bay host 121
additional mass distributions, delivering over 4.1 million meals and 30,966 hot meals to
families and individuals in need.
 Enhancing access to free groceries: An additional 1,951 people will have access to free
groceries through Feeding Tampa Bay’s on-site Community Market.

Fla. It employs some 55 staff – full and part time.
