‘SHIFTING GEARS’ IN HEALTH CARE REQUIRES A COMMUNITY-BASED APPROACH

WEST PARK, Fla., February 26, 2018 – HGreg.com is proud to have helped the Broward community shift gears towards a future with better health care services, Friday, February 23, at the 16th annual meeting and recognition dinner held by Broward Community & Family Health Centers.

Themed “Shifting Gears in Health Care”, the event featured the Trailblazers in Health Awards, which were handed out to Dr. Elaine M. Wallace (Nova SE University), Ms. Bertha Henry (Broward County), Chris Paterson (Sunshine Health), Mr.Jorge Hernandez (Quest) and Rep. Shevrin Jones (State of Florida).

Broward Community Health is a non-profit organization committed to providing accessible health care to those in the community. The organization focuses on preventative care as well as health education and offers free health care to approximately 12,000 people in Broward County.
